Iraqi Federal Police Command repudiates the news about closing Doura District in South Baghdad and issuing a curfew there. He says Iraqi forces only implemented a routine search in one area in Doura.

The Spokesman of Baghdad Operations Command says Baghdad is safe and asks the citizens not to believe the rumors.

The Security and Defense Committee in the Iraqi Parliament announces the formation of a defense line in Baghdad belt and says the security forces prepared a new security plan in Baghdad. The Committee says “failed officials” are behind the rumors about Daesh terrorists permeating Baghdad. The Committee also expressed its concerns regarding Daesh’s sleeping cells inside Baghdad.

The leader of Badr militia, Hadi Al-Ameri, says Baghdad and Kerbala are in a “real danger” because of Ramadi fall.

President Barzani says the KRG will allow all the displaced people from Anbar to enter Kurdistan without a guarantor.

A source in Anbar Operations Command says security forces, PMFs and tribal fighters managed to retake East Hsaiba from Daesh and kill Daesh’s Wali (governor) of the area.

Iraqi MoD says Iraqi Air Force launched several airstrikes on Daesh in Anbar.

A local source in Anbar says Daesh started to move their terrorists from Syria to Falluja after taking over Al-Waleed border from the Syrian forces.
