[DawaAlhaq]

DaeshDaily comment. We need to redefine the term “captured”. Daesh supporters still believe it “captured” half of Kirkuk, for example.

The Deputy Governor of Kirkuk says 170 houses were destroyed in Kirkuk city and 2 villages in Dibis District. The Kirkuk Governor says he doesn’t approve of any demolition or displacement actions in the governorate. [Sumaria]

DaeshDaily comment. This report seems to suggest some Kurdish retaliation against Arabs in Kirkuk in reaction to the Daesh attack on the city and the companion attack in Dibis. This could be an incendiary issue if the story proves out.

There are several reports about revenge actions against Arabs in Kirkuk including kicking displaced families out and demolishing house.
