A Saudi “official cleric” says Muslims should not support Iraqi forces in Falluja. He also says the Shia, the Iranians, and the Americans are surrounding and oppressing Sunni Iraqis in Falluja. [IslamMemo]

DaeshDaily comment. In other words, Shia are not real Muslims, a standard line of Wahhabi extremists which Daesh has adopted. As Daesh loses control of Falluja, there will be more of this sectarian propaganda, portraying the residents of Falluja as victims of the government and the Shia and Iran and the US. This will be part of the last-ditch effort to stave off a much-deserved defeat by pretending it’s just a sectarian conflict.

Such people have no solutions beyond their sectarian hatred. Should we just leave Daesh to behead people and throw young men from the roofs of buildings in Falluja? While the Saudi government publicly praises the war on terrorism, its huge religious organization keeps on supporting radicalism and terrorist ideologies. The “unofficial” fund raising for terrorist groups in still ongoing. For the Saudis, terrorist organizations are not that bad as long as they don’t work in Saudi Arabia.

Iraqi people have been watching the huge propaganda machine, and the fund raising, and countless Saudi terrorists blowing themselves up in Iraq. No one can blame them if they think that Daesh is largely a Saudi-created monster.

And again, this is not a 1400-year Sunni-Shia conflict. This is a Saudi-Iranian proxy war that started in 1979.
