Daesh says at least 76 Syrian soldiers and Shia militia fighters were killed in the 3 suicide attacks, 2 tanks and an armored vehicle were destroyed, and 2 tanks were captured by Daesh. [A3maq] [A3maq] [JustPaste] [JustPaste]

A suicide terrorist blew himself up in a Christian neighborhood in Qamishli on Sunday, killing two civilians and wounding six. [EnabBaladi]

Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack and said it killed eight “fighting Christians” and wounded twelve. [A3maq]

DaeshDaily comment. For Daesh and its likes, all non-takfiris are “fighting infidels,” even women and children.

Northwest (Aleppo, Idlib)

Manbij Military Council troops stopped a second major Daesh counter-attack on the Manbij area. The attacks started from the Jarabulus and Al-Bab areas and aimed at breaking the siege on Manbij. [Hawar]

Daesh says it launched a major attack on the YPG from different sides in the Manbij area. It says it captured 6 villages south and west of Manbij, in addition to 15 km (9 miles) of mountains southwest of the city. Daesh also says it stopped a YPG attack on the southern outskirts of Manbij, killing more than 20 fighters. Daesh says American warplanes bombed the area, but killed YPG fighters. Daesh says “tens” of YPG fighters have been killed since Sunday, and one was captured. [A3maq]

DaeshDaily comment. The standard Daesh propaganda after Coalition airstrikes, always attributed to the US, is that they were inaccurate and killed civilians (or in this case US-allied fighters). In Daesh’s version, they never kill Daesh members. This propaganda theme is used so routinely that no Daesh statement about civilian casualties from airstrikes can be taken seriously. Notice the similar propaganda statement above about Russian airstrikes.

Daesh issues a video about “normal market activities” in Al-Ra’i city. [A3maq]

DaeshDaily comment. As in Iraq, these propaganda videos are common. They have become more common lately because Daesh needs to show its supporters in the face of its military defeats that life is still normal in the caliphate and everything is under control (even though it isn’t). The more bad news Daesh gets from the battlefield, the more happy videos of normal life it will issue.

U.S.

Daesh issues another propaganda video about the Orlando suicide attack. Daesh foreign terrorists in west Anbar talk in the video and threaten more attacks. [DawaAlhaq] [YouTube]

DaeshDaily comment. In its pursuit of international relevancy, Daesh is ignoring facts about the attack. Daesh enjoys the propaganda value it gets from such terrorist incidents, even if they have nothing to do with it. Daesh online fanboys kept praising the terrorist and refusing, vehemently, to accept that he might have been gay.
